GUC provides a link to a third party, NCO, to handle credit and debit card payments.  GUC is not responsible for any convenience fees, the external site or the content provided on the external site.  GUC disclaims all responsibility once a customer transfers to NCO.  Once GUC receives a payment from NCO, the customers account is posted.  This process may take up to two business days.  At no time is credit or debit card information collected through on-line transactions stored in a GUC database.  Neither credit or debit card information nor other billing information about utility customers is regarded as public information under North Carolina state law.
