Commissioner Simon Swain worked as a manager for DuPont before starting his second career as an Information Technology professional. He is now retired.
Mr. Swain most recently served on the City of Greenville’s Board of Adjustment. He said, “I enjoy giving back to and serving the community in whatever way I can be of value. I hope to be of value as a contributing member of this Commission.”
Mr. Swain grew up in La Grange and has lived in Greenville for the past 41 years. He has been married to his wife, Suzanne, since 1989. They have one daughter, Crystal. Mr. Swain earned his associate’s degree in Information Technology at Pitt Community College.
