Durk Tyson is the Director of Gas Systems. Durk came to GUC as a Gas Systems Engineer in 2014 after a long career in engineering and project management roles at the City of Greenville and a private engineering firm. He was promoted to Assistant Director of Gas Systems in 2022.
Durk earned a degree in Engineering from North Carolina State University. He has been involved with and held positions in many community and professional organizations, including the American Public Gas Association (APGA) and the APGA Research Foundation.
