Kevin Keyzer became Director of Operations Support at Greenville Utilities in 2026 after serving in the Operations Support Manager role since 2021. He came to GUC in 2000 as the Safety Officer and has also served as Resource Exposure Manager and Risk and Facilities Manager. Kevin has been instrumental in the commission’s safety culture initiative, emergency response plan, and major construction projects like the Operations Center and downtown office building renovations.
Kevin earned a Bachelor of Science from East Carolina University’s School of Environmental Health. He also completed a degree at Pitt Community College where he attended as a student athlete. Prior to coming to GUC, he worked for Duke University and the North Carolina Department of Labor. Kevin is a past president of the University City Kiwanis Club, a Church leader, and is a member of the American Society of Safety Professionals.
