The Greenville City Council has appointed Marvin Edmonds to a three-year term on the Greenville Utilities Board of Commissioners as a County Representative. Commissioner Edmonds is a Corporate Electrical Engineer for ECU Health.
Commissioner Edmonds is looking forward to serving on the Board. He said, “I have interacted with people at GUC for several years through my work. I thought having the opportunity to be a part of GUC as a Commissioner would be good since I could have a chance to serve and help the community.”
Mr. Edmonds grew up in Alabama but moved to North Carolina in 1999 and has lived in the Greenville area for the past 9 years. He has been married to his wife, Kristie, since 2023.
This is his first appointment to a Board or Commission in Greenville, but he serves on the Advisory Board for the North Carolina State Employees’ Credit Union.
