Occasionally, Greenville Utilities permits the installation of decorative and/or informational banners, by eligible entities, on its streetlight/area light poles. Organizations such as local governments, educational institutions, and certified non-profit organizations are eligible and must submit an application for consideration and conform to all standards and specifications.
Attaching banners to GUC poles without prior approval is not allowed.
GUC has established these standards to ensure public safety and electric system reliability while supporting the community through the promotion of community activities, events, and information.
