17 hours 42 minutes ago 🎉 Help us welcome James, Emily, and Kelly to GUC! We’re so excited to have you on board and can’t wait to see the great things you’ll do. 4 days 19 hours ago It’s officially hurricane season! 🌀This year National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) predicts a likely range of 13 to 19 total named storms, of which 6 to 10 could become hurricanes, including 3 to 5 major hurricanes. We know that no matter what blows our way, preparing for all emergencies and weather events is a year-round activity for GUC. Visit our Storm Central page to learn more about how you can prepare and respond during a severe weather event. https://www.guc.com/storm-central 1 week 1 day ago GUC is running a short public safety survey, and we’d like your help. This survey is required by Federal regulation and used to judge the effectiveness of our natural gas safety education programs. We are asking all our customers to take the survey online…and you can do that at our website – guc.com. It will only take about a minute, and you don’t have to be a natural gas customer. After all, gas pipelines are all over Pitt County, so gas safety is important for everyone. https://www.cognitoforms.com/GreenvilleUtilities1/GreenvilleUtilitiesCommission2025NaturalGasSafetyOnlineSurvey 1 week 4 days ago Congratulations to all of this year's United Way of Pitt County award recipients! GUC will not call and threaten to cut off your utilities if you don’t pay right away. For more details about this new scam tactic as well as another possible scam alert we received from GPD last week, click here: https://t.co/MNqhRB5Mt6 2 months 3 weeks ago NEW SCAM ALERT - We are getting numerous reports from customers of another new scam tactic, this one related to callback number. These scammers are not only spoofing our number & caller ID but using a recording of our messaging system when customers return the phone call. (1/3) https://t.co/cN854GpZ5e 2 months 3 weeks ago This makes it appear to be GUC in the caller ID as well as the recording upon calling back the listed phone number. The callers claim that your utilities are about to be cut off if you don’t make a payment right away, a scam that typically pops up several times per year.
