Cease the Grease This Holiday Season
A lot of us are cooking more this time of year. Turkey. Ham. Bacon. These and other meats are great around the holidays, and every other day too, but they all leave behind grease when you cook them. Grease can be a real “pain in the drain!”
When you pour grease down a drain, it cools and can clog sewer lines. This can lead to sewer spills, which are messy, bad for the environment, and can also be expensive.
NEVER pour grease down the drain. Instead, collect it in a container (like a used soup can or jar), let it cool, and throw it away in the trash.
Together, we can protect our sewer system. Click here for more information.
