GUC's EZ Pay Program is convenient; you’ll have one less worry and need one less stamp. Greenville Utilities' automatic bill payment plan, EZ Pay, pays your utility bill on time by drafting your bank account. Here are some answers to questions you may have about the EZ Pay Program.

What is EZ Pay?
It’s an easy way to pay your utility bill. You simply authorize your bank to deduct the amount of your bill from your checking or savings account. Your bank automatically pays your bill -- on time. Paying a bill has never been so easy!

How does it work?
You will receive your regular, monthly utility bill as usual. At the same time, Greenville Utilities will notify your bank of the amount due. Your bank will then deduct the amount of your payment from your account. A message on your bill let's you know your payment is being deducted. Your bank statement will be your record of payment. It's all automatic!

Can I choose the payment date?
When you sign up for EZ Pay, you may select to have the payment deducted from 1-15 days after your billing date.

Can I pay for more than one account with EZ Pay?
Yes. You may use EZ Pay to pay for more than one Greenville Utilities account.

What if I change banks?
If you change banks, call Greenville Utilities. We'll need the new bank information to update your file.

Is there a charge for the EZ Pay service?
No.
