Roger Jones Elected President of NCOCC

Roger Jones, Director of Electric Systems, was elected President of the North Carolina One Call Center (NCOCC) for 2010.  He has served as the Board’s Vice-President of Operations for the past two years and prior to that as the Board’s Vice-President for Finance.

The NCOCC provides information about the location of utility lines – underground and overhead – to keep everyone safe and save time and the cost of repairs. NCOCC operates 24 hours a day, seven days a week, 365 days of the year. Customers and contractors can call 811 at least two working days in advance to find out if there are lines to be avoided.
