Wastewater treatment is a 24-hour a day, 7-day-a-week responsibility. GUC’s Wastewater Treatment Plant is operated by professionals, dedicated to protecting the environment from water pollution.  The ultimate goal of wastewater treatment is to protect the environment not only for GUC customers, but for our neighboring communities as well. Each city and town along the Tar-Pamlico River Basin is affected by the quality of water discharged from our plants.  The care we take now will make a difference for the generations to come.
